Favorite Beauty Products of 2016- Face

2016 was definitely a year for makeup hits! Here I have compiled a list of both new and tried-and-true face products that I absolutely loved this year.

Maybelline Instant Rewind Concealer- I have been using this product for YEARS. It’s remained a staple in my routine throughout all of 2016, too!

Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer– This was a new product that I tried this year and I love it. A tiny bit goes a long way with this product, I purchased it back in July and still have half the tube left, which is very impressive considering I use it almost everyday.

NYX Tea Tree Primer– Let me be the first to say that tea tree oil is a miracle product by itself, but primer INFUSED with tea tree oil? Unbelievable. Most primers that I have tried before always do a great job of making sure my foundation stays put, but I always seem to break out terribly after a few uses. I swear this stuff not only doesn’t break me out, but it clears up existing acne as well.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation– This foundation is perfect if you are going to be out and about for a long time without being able to do any touch-ups. It has great buildable coverage that lasts for at least 12 hours.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation– This is my go-to every day foundation. It has a nice medium coverage, great on my sensitive skin and you really can’t beat the price point.

Becca Jaclyn Hill Highlight/Blush Palette- Dare I say that this might be my favorite makeup product that I purchased this year. This palette is amazing. It comes with both “Champagne Pop” and “Prosecco Pop” highlights and three different blush shades. Unfortunately this palette was limited edition so I’m not entirely sure if it is still available for purchase.

Nars Blush in “Goulue Goulue” – I actually got this blush as a free gift from Sephora and totally fell in love. Once this is used up, I plan on purchasing the full size version.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Bronzer in “Park Avenue Princess”– I used to be an avid user of Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer, and while I still think Hoola is a great product, this Tarte bronzer has taken its place. It is the perfect shade for my fair skin and it lasts all day. Use it for contouring or dust all over the face, this bronzer is amazing.
